Tropical Storm is the brainchild of Northwest Panman Terry Baber. Terry has established himself as one the most entertaining solo steel drum acts in the Northwest since his arrival in 2008 from Orlando, Florida. Trop Rock was becoming a big musical entity in Florida and he knew that when the opportunity presented itself he would put a large band together. Over the last 4 years Terry met different musicians that he knew would fit into the band. A band has to have the right chemistry, you see, or it is just a bunch of musicians on stage playing songs. A real band is like a group of brothers, who although might agree to disagree, have the same vision in mind. When Terry met Jamie Mehan, another like-minded Trop Rocker, all the pieces fell into place. Everybody in Tropical Storm, is an extremely gifted musician. The band instantly got into a groove and is going to bring their unique twist on Northwestern Trop Rock to the entire country!

Tropical Storm has become a nationally recognized Jimmy Tribute Band as well as a hard trop rockin band. Tropical Storm comes complete with steel drums and a 3 piece horn section.
