The Sum is a four piece rock cover band based in Orange County covering Orange County, LA areas, South West Inland Empire and City of Riverside areas .  The lineup is, Dan Herschleb guitar/vocal, Ed Castanon drums/vocal, Todd Pearce bass/vocal and Bert Fiallo guitar/lead vocal. 

These four gentlemen were brought together by a shared love of Rock and Roll crossing a wide spectrum of styles and genres.  Our set lists touches upon five decades of some of the most influential music ever written and recorded.​  The quartet features songs from the most popular recording artists of all time, including, The Beatles, The Eagles and many more in between such as Billy Idol, Radiohead and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.  The Sum brings you songs you know and love (along with a few songs that you may have forgotten about) with their singular interpertation all while capturing the spirit of the Rock and Roll classics.  ​The Sum is a cover band and has chosen our song list to insure that when we perform everyone will recognize all of the cover songs, and the audience will be able to sing along with us.  The Sum’s intent for our song list is to cover all of the rock music you have heard on the radio over 5 decades.  Our mission is to create a fun and inviting party atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy yourself and friends.

In our life outside of The Sum, we are all professionals in a wide verity of disciplines.  The Sum was brought together for us to enjoy each other’s company and our love of playing music.  Therefore, if we enjoy playing our music, we are sure you will enjoy hearing our music as well.  Because of our professional lifestyle, The Sum is equally committed to showing up and starting on time for our performance.
