SPECIAL DELIVERY 

is one of Western New York’s most popular bands, playing everything from ethnic specialties to party favorites.

Founded in 2013, the group is comprised of the best musicians from the area’s most popular bands: Chris Gawlak (trumpet), Tom Goldyn (drums), Mark Kohan (bass, guitar), Dave Miesowicz (tenor and alto saxophones), and Ted Szymanski (keyboards, accordion). Kohan is a member of the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame, and Goldyn and Miesowicz were members of The Bedrock Boys, twice named “Buffalo’s Best Oldies Band” by the Buffalo Music Awards. Szymanski was leader of Buffalo’s City Side band for over 30 years (best known for their “Buffalo Bills” polka, and live performances of “Stas & Stella’s Wedding”), and Gawlak was a member of the Dynatones, and played on its award-winning LP “Live Wire.”

Members have performed across the United States, Canada, and in Europe, and in total, have over two-dozen recordings. Special Delivery has released two CDs, “Blueprints for Dancing,” and “Lock, Stock, and Barrel.”

While known across the country for its foot-stompin’ polkas, Special Delivery plays everything — Oldies to Classic Rock, Latin to Country, and Swing to Blues. All members of the group are vocalists, providing rich harmonies that will make your customers want to sing along.
