The Post-It Notes Quartet
The Post-It Notes is a registered quartet of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS). The quartet was formed in May, 2022 and includes members:
- Frances Davies Lunder (tenor)
- Jason Rogers (lead)
- Paul Heffner (bass)
- Tyler Bosma (baritone)
Their local host BHS chapter is the Seattle SeaChordsmen, of whom Frances, Jason, and Tyler are members. Frances is also the assistant director of a local Sweet Adelines International (SAI) women's chapter, the Sound Harmony Chorus -- another venue for barbershop-style vocal performance.
By day Frances enjoys teaching, Jason enjoys an engineering consulting role, Paul dabbles in water quality control, and Tyler guides patrons' learning pursuits at the library. While the quartet was formed due to the members' mutual enjoyment in singing the "barbershop harmony" style and the mission to share that craft with audiences around the Seattle region, they also use competition as a tool for continuous musical and performance improvement. The quartet has competed in two BHS district competitions, and is excited to continue mastering their craft.
The quartet is available for gigs. The repertoire is generally fixed; with enough lead time, we may be able to perform a requested song.
