The Emma Lee Project
The Emma Lee Project is a singer/songwriter based project performing original songs. The project is composed of Emma Lee who writes songs, plays guitar and sings and Cheyenne Young on bass. The Project features lead guitar, violin, lap steel players and a cojon player (for those of you who don't know the name, its also called a beat-box, its a wooden percussion instrument that provides full rhythm in an acoustic style). The sound of the Emma Lee Project, or ELP, ranges from upbeat classic country styles to provocative and sexy blues, jazzy overtones with a folk style to bass driven alternative styles. Their sound is new, yet seems familiar. The songs, written by Emma, are lyrically rich and intimate brought to life by her full, throaty voice. Cheyenne Young plays the electric stand up bass with flair, displaying his genius developed over his three decades of training and performing. Currently, the project is featuring Javier Jiminez on lead guitar. Javier's tasty melodies and fantastic fingering are breathtaking. The Emma Lee Project has over four hours of original material perfect for an array of events, they can get you dancing as easily as they can be beautiful ambiance.
