Howdy!  We're The Dirt Farmers, a high-energy, quasi-bluegrass band based out of Bozeman, Montana, who have been together for over 5 years now.  We play a very eclectic mix of originals and covers, have one CD out and are working on another.  We've played a multitude of weddings and corporate events, and have nothing but 5-star reviews.  We've won Bozeman Magazine's "People's Choice" awards now for the last 4 years in a row.  Recently we were the musical guests on NPR's "Says You" for the two shows they taped here in Bozeman.

Our music appeals to all ages, is very fun to dance or just listen to.  We play music as diverse as bluegrass and old celtic fiddle tunes to hip-hop, from old country classics to covers of songs from The Rolling Stones, Cake, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, etc - all on traditional bluegrass instruments, and all with a unique bluegrassy flavor.

We are known for being flexible, reliable, professional, and very easy to work with.  Several band members are classically trained, so we can perform your ceremony music too!  Please contact your Talent Coordinator for your wedding or corporate event - your guests will have an evening they will long remember!
