Starr Cullars
✨ CEO | Musician | Actor | Martial Artist
Although I am a celebrity and independent musician, I can easily perform contemporary, corporate material for a variety of events. Feel free to book me for your special occasion.
A Force of Nature from the Cosmos
Starr Cullars is one of the rare women to serve as CEO of her own self-made company, Cosmic Nation Productions. Supported by an experienced management team with decades in the entertainment industry, Starr leads The SCC, a powerhouse live band that performs alongside her when needed.
Beyond music, Cosmic Nation Productions also includes an investment division focused on real estate.
A Rock & Funk Icon
Starr Cullars holds the distinction of being the only female instrumentalist ever to join Parliament-Funkadelic, earning her major credibility in the world of funk and rock. She was personally recognized by Paul Stanley of KISS and Grammy-winning producer Mark Hudson as the "Queen of Rock."
Her star power soared as one of the featured musicians on VH1's Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy Camp (Season 2), where she performed alongside Paul Stanley (KISS), Mark Hudson, Eddie Kramer (legendary producer/engineer), Sammy Hagar (Van Halen), Phil Collen (Def Leppard), and Duff McKagan & Matt Sorum (Guns N’ Roses). The rock legends embraced her, crowning her a rising force in the industry.
Starr originally auditioned for Prince, who recognized her talent, but due to scheduling conflicts, she ultimately joined George Clinton and the P-Funk dynasty, touring and recording with the group. Prince, however, continued to follow her career.
Music & Film
Starr is also a theater-trained screen actress, currently producing two independent films:
A documentary on the Women of Rock Music
A film chronicling the Amazon Warrior—Starr's incredible career journey
With three albums released, her latest, Living Galaxy, has fueled new tour runs. Released under Cosmic Nation Productions, it is available at Walmart and Walmart Canada, with radio airplay keeping her music on top lists. Starr was also featured in the April 2021 issue of Bass Player Magazine.
Her band, The Starr Cullars Crew, has been compared to Queen, Lenny Kravitz, Prince, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, yet maintains a unique, signature sound that has cultivated a dedicated underground following. Their explosive performances free minds and move bodies wherever they rock and roll.
Current Mission: Empowering Women
Having endured the harsh realities of an abusive domestic relationship, Starr has emerged stronger, thriving beyond survival. She now dedicates her live performances and advocacy to inspiring, encouraging, and empowering women and girls to break free from abusive situations. Actively involved in multiple causes, she is open to further collaborations that uplift and support women’s empowerment.
