Spare Parts is a professional jazz group consisting of Kevin Kozol on piano, Colin Scott on bass, Mike Bruno on percussion and Shane Jonas on trumpet and vocals. The group has performed professionally around the Midwest since 2000. Each member of Spare Parts holds a Masters degree in Music from DePaul University and is active in performing, teaching and composing. The music of Spare Parts can range stylistically from straight-ahead jazz to funk, rock, latin, and even pop. The group works with some of Chicago 's finest musicians and is therefore available in multiple combinations ranging from solo piano to larger ensemble settings. Spare Parts is available for a variety of functions such as weddings, corporate events, and private parties, etc. Satisfied clients include Brooks Brothers, Kenneth Cole, JCYS, DePaul University, Columbia College, Bishop-McCann, Folia Restaurant, Kankakee Bar Association, and the Will County Bar Association to name a few.
