Ryan Fischer is a Toronto born Vancouver based singer-songwriter who performs his own style of urban folk music. Rolling out to the West Coast of BC in 2016 in search of mountains, forests, ocean air and musical adventure, Ryan Fischer is also an actor who performs under his birth name, Ryan Feldman. He previously made a series of award winning personal documentaries that screened internationally in festivals and on TV. He began writing songs as an impulse to get him through tough times in Toronto where he was struggling to make films and pay the rent, but only played them for himself until recently. After a 2 month trip to Mexico in the winter of 2015 - where he survived a dangerous encounter with a riptide - he returned to focus solely on music.
