Rick and the Robertson Boys

Based in High Point NC

The Robertson Boys have been playing festivals, weddings, private parties, wineries, churches, craft breweries and more for the last 26 years. We started out playing traditional bluegrass music but transitioned to Americana after our banjo player took a leave of absence to raise a family. We still play some bluegrass but now bill our band as "eclectic bluegrass inspired Americana". At our shows you might find us doing some Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, John Denver, The Weekend, Post Malone, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Queen and traditional folks music. We want to make sure we play something everyone would like at our shows.

Our fiddle/violin player is well versed in all genres of music and has played weddings as a soloist as well as playing duets and then moving to our full 4 piece band within the same ceremony.

We do have a complete sound system that is handled by our bass player who has a degree in sound reinforcement. Our system can handle small rooms or outdoor venues. We do pride ourselves in the quality of our sound as well as the quality of our music.

We are currently working to finish our 3rd album and first as an Americana type band. Stay turned for the release date, sometime this spring. We are also writing more original music and hope to cut an album of all original music next year.
