Karr Productions started in the early 90's. In 1997 Oren came along and purchased 50% of Karr productions from Pat Walker.  The two of them ran it together producing many karaoke shows all around the Puget Sound area for many years. In 2005, Pat Walker decided he no longer wanted to be part of the daily operations of Karr Productions and gave Oren Artlip the chance to purchase the other 50% of Karr Productions. The rest is history.

Oren took Karr Productions and made it one of the biggest Karaoke companies in Washington State providing service for as many as 16 Bars and 27 Shows a week.  In 2009 Oren decided to take the company a different direction and focus more on the DJs for reunions, weddings, and private parties while still keeping about 6-9 bars for weekly karaoke shows around the Puget Sound area.

Exceeded our Expectations!

Karr Productions were professional and amazing, and Oren went above our expectations. Our original wedding date was in May, which was canceled due to COVID. Oren was patient and worked with us as we looked into all of our options. Communication was seamless, both prior to and day-of, and Oren was very proactive throughout the entire process.

Oren provided a very thorough checklist and even held a face-to-face meeting to make sure both parties where squared away for our big day. He even let us borrow a pop-up canopy. Oren ended up being our day of coordinator and would check-in with us prior to starting a song for the next event. We had a few last minute changes during the event and Oren was able to adapt on the fly making it seem like it was originally planned that way.

I highly recommend Oren and Karr Productions. His services will exceed your expectations and you are getting more than what you’re paying for. Thanks again Oren for making our wedding memorable!

Covid wedding

We were supposed to have our wedding in Hawaii but due to covid we had to adjust plans last minute and they made finding a DJ that worked perfectly for our day stress free.

Awesome Experience!

We had an awesome experience with KARR Productions for our wedding! Oren was very flexible and accommodating with all of the changes we had to make due to COVID. He was always very good at communicating and keeping us on schedule to be prepared for the wedding. On the wedding day, he was there early to setup and played some great music for us while we were finishing everything. He did an amazing job keeping us on schedule announcing things, while also letting the night be somewhat flexible when things needed to change a little. Oren got the wedding guests involved and adapted to what music everyone was liking, which ensured everyone who was there was having a great time. I would HIGHLY recommend having Oren be the DJ at your wedding or event!

Karr Productions helped me in a huge bind and with very little notice for our wedding. We didn’t realize we needed a Dj service since we had a band already scheduled to play. But then when we realized we needed a DJ for the ceremony and beginning of the reception, Karr production sent Robert to save the day!
