Leading the quartet is violinist Daniela Bisenius, born in Bucharest, Romania. Daniela's musical journey began at the tender age of five, guided by her parents, both professional pianists. She honed her skills at the prestigious Music School George Enescu, studying under Dinu Cristea and later Valeriu Rogacev. As a teenager, she performed alongside her father and brother with major symphony orchestras and opera houses in Germany. At 19, she secured a position with the Staatsphilharmonie Ludwigshafen and went on to perform with renowned ensembles such as the Frankfurt Opera, Munich Philharmonic, Bayerisches Rundfunk, and RTL Luxembourg. Daniela continued her studies at the Musikhochschule Saarbrücken with Russian instructor Valerie Gradov and attended Violin Master Classes in Nice, France, with maestros Henrick Szeryng and Gérard Poulet.
In 1988, Daniela moved to the United States, where she received a full scholarship to the University of Iowa, studying under Professor Leopold La Fosse. She gained national attention by appearing in a televised Master Class with Isaac Stern and performed with various professional orchestras, including the Naples Philharmonic, Phoenix Symphony, and Lyric Opera of Chicago. Over the years, Daniela has shared the stage with stars like Natalie Cole, Luther Vandross, Smokey Robinson, and Kurt Elling. In 2010, she showcased her versatility by playing the fiddle in the sold-out musical "Always Patsy Cline," as one of the four-piece band members known as “The Bodacious Bobcats.”
