One of her favorite types of gigs is performing for seniors at Assisted Living centers, as the songs of the 1920's - '50's are Hilary's first love. She said, "I love hearing stories of growing up during the time when those songs were popular. It is so much fun to see a person's face light up when you start singing their favorite song from back in the day. Nothing like it." In addition to the jazz vocals the is most known for, she performs a variety of other styles (rock, disco, oldies, R & B, pop, country).
