Based in Detroit, our dynamic ensemble covers an impressive range of musical genres, including R&B, Funk, Top 40, 80s hits, Urban, Motown Classics, and Gospel. Our lead vocalist, Cynthia "Denise" Davis, known previously as Leilani, embarked on this musical journey in June 2010 with a trio of vocalists eager to share the harmonious sounds of R&B, Jazz, and Gospel music. In addition to our vocal talents, we proudly feature our fantastic band, "The Triple Impact Band," comprising Bass and Lead Guitars, Keyboards, Drums, and a Percussionist.

Our repertoire features a blend of exciting yet soulful vocals, punctuated by a rhythmic undercurrent. We draw inspiration from a rich tapestry of musical styles, incorporating elements of gospel, hip-hop, funk, jazz, pop, and R&B. Our mission is to touch the hearts and souls of our audience with our music, offering a unique blend of style, harmony, and grace.

Each of our members is a seasoned soloist, ensuring that your event's entertainment needs are met with expertise and finesse.

In 2010, we officially introduced "Denise Davis, formerly known as Leilani," to the city of Detroit and the wider United States. The journey began with a shared vision among four talented women. The excitement was palpable, and anticipation of success was in the air. We promised a fresh, innovative sound, and we're committed to sharing it with the world.

Our unique musical style is the result of a lifetime immersed in music. Growing up in a musically gifted family, Denise was surrounded by various forms of music from an early age. She was exposed to the talents of her mother, a full-time ballad and Gospel singer, and her parents, who provided a rich musical backdrop for her development. Her musical journey commenced at the age of 9, singing with her two sisters and performing at local churches, funerals, and school shows. It wasn't long before she added the flute and Modern Dance to her repertoire, establishing her as a versatile artist.

As Denise's confidence grew, she started to gather a dedicated following, becoming a local sensation as she sang with several notable groups. Her proficiency with a musical instrument added another layer to her appeal, and her unique sound with a contemporary twist found a receptive audience.

The vibrant musical scene in Detroit served as a fertile ground for her evolving style. While her roots are firmly grounded in traditional Detroit music, she drew inspiration from the diverse musical landscape that the city offered.

Denise acknowledges a wide array of musical influences that have shaped her development, including iconic artists like Whitney Houston, Donny Hathaway, Luther Vandross, Anita Baker, Teena Marie, and Regina Belle. After years of refining her distinctive sound, she has released "Denise Davis," showcasing her sophisticated harmonious vocals at their best.

Beyond her musical endeavors, Denise is actively involved in supporting local musicians in the Detroit area through her membership in the DMAMEA organization.

In addition to her musical talents, Denise has ventured into community service, dedicating herself to several causes and organizations. She serves as CEO & President of the Lady Xavier’s Community Service Organization, Lady Fie Xavier’s Sorority, Diamonds Peer Group, and Community Ambassador for the City of Detroit under Mayor Dave Bing. Her many talents and her commitment to making a positive impact are evident through her impressive educational achievements, including Masters Degrees in Modern Dance and Business Management, as well as a current pursuit of a Doctorate. She holds various certifications in administration, leadership development, and more, making her a versatile and accomplished individual.
