Acclaimed Pacific Northwest vocalist and recording artist Carol Rossio performs swingin' blues, sultry jazz & groovy French retro pop - ooh la la! Carol’s live shows enchant listeners with her range and charisma. She's worked with fabulous instrumentalists in the US and in France, and her three cd recordings showcase Carol's smooth vocal jazz styling, offering quirky yet hip arrangements of recognizable jazz standards along with original French pop tunes. 

Carol has opened for Grammy-winner Angélique Kidjo at the Aladdin Theatre, performed at The Taste of Beaverton featuring Grammy-winner Poncho Sanchez, performed with two Grammy-nominees (Giovanni Parra and Randy Porter), recorded and performed with smooth jazz pioneer Tom Grant, appeared as special guest soloist with the internationally renowned Robbie Laws Band at Portland's Waterfront Blues Festival (her favorite 5 minutes of fame, performing live for over 5,000 enthusiastic blues fans!) and she's also performed at weddings, wineries, nightclubs, resorts and regional festivals. Carol manifested a magical opportunity to record with French musicians, then headed back to Paris a year later to perform at her French (Re)Mix debut cd release party held at historic Cafe de Cluny on the Left Bank... sigh...

Her three cds have received critical acclaim and frequent airplay on KOPB 91.5fm, KMHD 89.1fm, KBOO 90.7fm, and KPOV 88.9fm  plus glowing reviews in The Oregonian, Willamette Week, Jazzscene Magazine, Borders Books and Music News, The Portland Tribune, Positively Entertainment, Oregon Music News, The Bend Bulletin and The Source Weekly. 

In addition to solo singing, Carol adores singing with choirs and has performed with many wonderful groups over the years, including Portland Symphonic Choir, Central Oregon Mastersingers, Cascade Chorale, Choral Arts Ensemble, Portland's Unitarian Church Choir, Back Bay Chorale, and Harvard Summer Chorus. 

She traveled to New York City in 2022 with members of Central Oregon Mastersingers to perform the Brahms Requiem at Carnegie Hall! Quite a bucket list accomplishment :-)
